Millwall’s Tom Bradshaw's knee surgery earlier this week was a success according to the striker and now the 'extensive rehabilitation programme begins.'

The club released a statement and Bradshaw took to social media to update fans on the knee ligament injury picked up in the 2-0 defeat at Brentford on November 3.

Millwall manager Neil Harris had indicated the extent Bradshaw’s injury after last weekend’s 4-3 defeat at Norwich, with the prospect of losing the former Barnsley man for the remainder of the season.

The 26-year-old had his operation on Tuesday at Cromwell Hospital and is expected not to return until the start of 2019/20 pre-season training.
