Thameslink will have an extra 200 services running each weekday – including on the Wimbledon loop – from December 10.
Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) says there will be 32 additional peak and 170 off-peak services operating from that time, while most of the current ones will remain unchanged.
A spokesman for the train company says this will bring the total number of daily services from 3,400 to 3,600.
GTR chief operating officer Steve White said: “Many passengers will benefit from more frequent services thanks to 200 extra weekday services on Thameslink and Great Northern.
“I would like to thank our customers for their patience as these improvements have been phased in and thank our staff for their hard work making this happen.”
