A driver has escaped unharmed after they crashed their car into a number of parked vehicles before it overturned onto its roof in Worcester Park.

Emergency services were called to reports of a collision in Highdown at around 6.45pm on October 29.

Images show broken glass strewn across the floor and airbags deployed inside the car following the accident.

One witness, who does not wish to be named, said they heard a “very loud banging” sound at the time of the crash before rushing out to see what happened.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 6.45pm to reports of a traffic collision in Highdown, Worcester Park.

“At the scene, a vehicle had been in collision with a number of stationery vehicles, during which the vehicle overturned.

“The driver did not stop at the scene.”
