Children suffering from life challenging conditions in Kingston could get to unwrap a Christmas present generously donated by the local community this year.

A Kingston business collecting Christmas gifts for a children’s charity has arranged for a 50 square room to store donations until December.

Access Self Storage Kingston near Norbiton Station is donating gifts to Momentum Children’s Charity for Christmas to support children with life-challenging conditions such as cancer.

Over the past 7 years, over 4,500 donations have been collected to over 100 charities and hospices across the UK.

Those interested in taking part can drop off brand new toys for at Access Self Storage Kingston in Station Yard by December 14.

All donations may be left at the reception of Access Self Storage Kingston where they will be stored until they are delivered to the charity for Christmas.

Last year’s collection saw more than 1,600 presents nationwide, including games, books, toys, clothing and even home-made creations given to charity.

Kingston Store manager Tracy Probert said: “Momentum is such an incredible charity to support.

“We urge the community to support us in donating as many new toys as we possibly can for these amazing children this Christmas.”

Bianca Effemey, CEO of Momentum Children’s Charity says, “We are thrilled to be chosen by Access Self Storage Kingston as the beneficiaries of this year’s Christmas appeal.

“Christmas can be especially tough for families whose children have cancer or a life-challenging condition, the new toys will give them a much needed boost.”
