A man from northwest London has been charged in connection with attempted theft from vehicles in Epsom.
Shah Omar Williams, 39, of Mandela Close, Brent, is being held by police on suspicion of going equipped for theft in the area.
The charges against him relate to incidents which occurred this past Sunday (October 21) in Briarwood Road.
A Surrey Police spokesman said he has since been released on bail and is due to appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on November 23.
