Millwall will travel to Reading this weekend more relaxed following the international break according to Shaun Hutchinson.

The defender who has come back from knee injury and is available for selection for their trip to the Madjeski says the win over Aston Villa has boosted all those at the club.

Speaking to the club website the 27-year-old who has not played since the end of August said:

“The draw at Nottingham Forest was outstanding, then to take it into Villa and get three points was massive for us.”

“We can relax now we’ve got the win, and now kick on like last year.”

The international break came at a good time for Neil Harris’s side according to Hutchinson.

"We have been having the two weeks to work on a few things, and it was good to go into the break with a win.

"Obviously last year it took us a while to get our first away victory. Hopefully we can pick up the win on Saturday which can have the same effect as before.

"Once we get the first away win, we can really start moving up the table."

Hutchinson says he ‘feels good’ after coming through 45 minutes of an under 23’s match against Watford this week and that he’s completed two weeks of training which makes him available for selection this weekend.

Millwall sit one place above Reading in 20th.
