Elmbridge Police have sought to reassure residents after a police helicopter called on an address in Thames Street in Weybridge yesterday.
Surrey Police confirmed a number of police officers, including armed officers and a police helicopter, attended the address in Weybridge.
A 30-year old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released on bail, according to Surrey Police.
Two men with injuries were reportedly found at the location in Thames Street, according to police.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We were called around 12.50am yesterday (9 October), to an address in Thames Street, Weybridge, following reports of a disturbance.”
In a post on Facebook yesterday, Elmbridge Police wrote: “Following an isolated incident around Thames Street in Weybridge last night we would like to assure people that there is no cause for concern.
“Firearms units attended but there are no concerns regarding firearms surrounding this incident.
"Local PCSO's will be in the area this afternoon to address any concerns you may still have.”
