Police investigating a fatal crash in Morden are appealing for the driver of a black Toyota Corolla to come forward.
The driver - who is being treated solely as a witness - is believed to have seen the moments prior to a car crashing into a tree in Bishopsford Road just after 2am on September 25.
The driver of the car, a 33-year-old man who has been named locally as Billy Lowe, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
Enquiries into the circumstances continue and it is not believed that anyone else was in the car or any other vehicles were involved.
No arrests have been made.
