Chris Solly’s first goal in almost six years salvaged a 2-2 draw for Charlton against Luton today.

Two goals in seven second-half minutes from Harry Cornick and James Collins almost inflicted a first defeat in six games for Lee Bowyer’s men.

But Solly’s injury-time rescue act keeps Charlton in the play-off places.

Here is how News Shopper rated Charlton’s players…

Jed Steer - 5 - Made a smart stop to deny Elliot Lee in the second-half but didn't have another save to make. Could’ve been quicker off his line for Luton’s equaliser.

Chris Solly - 8 - Kept his winger quiet for the entire game. Got forward well when he could. Scored a fantastic volley in the 95th minute.

Naby Sarr - 6 - Recovered superbly after a very shaky opening 15 minutes. He’s taking his chance.

Jason Pearce - 5 - Misjudged the flight of the ball more than once in a game where he struggled at times.

Lewis Page - 4 - Gave the ball away too many times and his crossing is usually better.

Ben Reeves - 5 - A quiet game for the playmaker whose set-piece deliveries were poor.

Josh Cullen - 7 - Shows so much composure on the ball. Didn't surrender possession once.

Joe Aribo - 8 - Broke up play and started attacks. His game is maturing incredibly fast.

Tariqe Fosu - 8 - A first start of the season for the winger due to injury and suspension - and he was excellent. He was a constant thorn in Luton’s side. Took his penalty well.

Lyle Taylor - 7 - Held the ball up brilliantly like he always does. A lack of creativity from midfield didn't help him.

Igor Vetokele - 7 - A first league start in over two years for Vetokele. Worked so hard off the ball.
