A long-term Twickenham resident has been given the chance to showcase her photography at an exhibition with Zippo Circus.
Cathy Cooper has been photographing the circus for six years and, ahead of their 250th anniversary owner Martin Burton has invited Cathy to host an exhibition.
The circus will be on Twickenham green until September 25, with Cathy’s exhibition available to visit through the whole week.
Cathy decided to photograph the circus as part of her college project 2012, after watching Yasmin Smart rehearse. She has since been taking pictures of the circus when they come to Twickenham.
Cathy, who has lived in Twickenham since 1981, was made redundant in 2011. She decided to do a photography course at the then Richmond Adult Community College.
Tickets for the circus start from £9 and can be bough online at https://zippos.seetickets.com/venue/twickenham-green/11091
