The line-up for this year’s Croydon Literary festival has been announced.
Events will be held at venues across the borough on Saturday October 27, bringing talks from authors across a wide range of literary fields.
Speakers include travel writer and broadcaster John Carter, bestselling romantic novelist Mike Gayle and New Addington born architectural writer John Grindrod.
Events will take place at three venues - Croydon Clocktower, Croydon Central Library and The Spread Eagle Pub and Theatre.
The festival returns for its second edition after debuting last year.
Alongside the wide-ranging program of speakers, taster sessions will be taking place at Croydon Central Library throughout the day where bookworms can sample reading groups.
Workshops will also be taking place at Croydon Clocktower, including ‘The Chocolate Poetry Club’ hosted by Paul Point.
