Churchill marks the start of construction in Selsdon
Construction on a new 37-room care home in Selsdon is underway.
Churchill Retirement Living was given the green light for its Addington Road development back in October 2016.
Now it is hoped that works will be finished in 12 months time.
Anne Scherrer, regional marketing manager for Churchill. said: “With almost 20 per cent of the Croydon population aged over 65, we believe the provision of housing for older people and the need to ensure there are sufficient, good quality retirement living options to meet the needs of an ageing population is of the upmost importance.
“As such, we are thrilled to be breaking ground on our new development in Selsdon."
