A week after a woman was allegedly raped in Wandle Park, another attack has taken place.
Police were called at 9.20pm last night (September 5) to reports of an attempted rape on Prince George’s Road.
It is reported that a female in her 20’s was attacked by an unknown man.
Officers attended and a crime scene remains in place.
No arrests and enquiries continue to trace the suspect.
In the early hours on August 30, a woman reported she had been raped by a man inside Wandle Park
No arrests have been made from that attack either.
Officers from the Met's Child Abuse and Sexual Offences command investigate.
