If you have woken up this morning and wondered if your water isn't running just as it should, you are not alone.

It seems that Thames Water are dealing with a flurry of burst pipes.

The issue was first mentioned by the company on Twitter at about 10pm last night when they said that a burst water main in Lavender Avenue was "taking a little longer than expected" but they would be "working through the night to repair this as quickly as possible."

They said some customer may experience lower pressure than normal or even no water at all this morning.

Now it looks like not only is that issue still ongoing, but more pipes have burst in the meantime.

"We’re aware some customers in SW16 are experiencing no water/low pressure," Thames Water's post at 7.30am read.

"This is due to a burst pipe on Rowan Road, this is unrelated to the burst on Lavender Avenue.

"We're working hard to get customers back into supply as quickly as we can."

They said an update will be provided by 10am.
