A 14-year-old boy has been robbed of 10p and his mobile phone at Balham train station.
The teen had been standing with a friend near a coffee shop on the platform when he was approached by another youth.
PC Oliver Gilbert, of the British Transport Police's robbery squad, said: "The youth was pushed against a wall and the suspect demanded money. The youth replied he had only 10p and the suspect demanded he empty his pockets. The youth complied and pulled out his mobile phone which the suspect took before boarding a train to Epsom."
The suspect is described as Afro-Caribbean, 6ft, and between 16 and 18. Police say he has short Afro hair, a thin face and was wearing dark-coloured casual clothing at the time of the robbery at around 3pm on June 20.
