Corinthian Casuals went out the FA Cup in controversial fashion against Kent League side Deal Town on Saturday.

Trailing 2-1 at home to Deal Town, they had a strong injury-time shout for handball rejected, leading to two bookings and the sending off of Chris Horwood for dissent.

Adam Govey had thrashed a 10-yard shot into the net to give Deal the lead after some lax defending from a corner, but Simon Mitchell equalised for Casuals midway through the first half.

Mitchell was then unlucky not to give Casuals the lead as his curling shot came back off the bar.

Aaron Robinson restored the Kent side's lead with a fine lob just before the break.

Casuals, with Scott Hassell influential, laid siege to the Deal goal for much of the second half but were again denied by the woodwork as Tyone Myton hit the base of a post, before their afternoon finished on a sour note.
