TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND
THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
HERMITAGE LANE, CROYDON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate new church developments they intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian traffic movements in Hermitage Lane, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall proceed along the public footway which lies on the north-east side of Hermitage Lane, from its junction with Morland Road north-westward for a distance of 100.00 metres.
3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via the opposite footway.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 24 September 2007 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 18 months. (Pedestrian access will only be maintained via the opposite footway)
