A driver has been taken to hospital after a crash involving three cars in Woodcote Road this morning.
Police were called shortly before 6.30am to reports of a road traffic collision today (August 1).
One of the unidentified drivers was taken to hospital as a precaution, a Met Police spokeswoman said, while no information was revealed about the other two.
No arrests have been made while no other injuries have been reported.
Motorists were urged by police to avoid Woodcote Road, between Woodcote Green and Foxley Lane, in Purley, due to the accident this morning.
The road was reopened in both directions after the incident was cleared.
