Purley Oaks Station
A man who was hit by a train in South Croydon last week has died.
Officers from the British Transport Police were called to Purley Oaks station on Friday, June 22 shortly before 8.30pm following a report that a person had been struck by a train.
The London Ambulance Service also attended but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
