An 18-year-old girl has been killed in a road accident in Norbury.
The girl, who is believed to be Becky Cooksley, was a passenger in a car which was being driven by a man in his 20s.
The collision happened at around 2.20am this morning in London Road, at the junction with Tylecroft Road.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious leg and other injuries. He is in a critical condition.
Becky was taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting, where she was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Her next of kin have been informed but police are not expected to release a formal identification until later tomorrow.
It is understood only one vehicle was involved.
The collision investigation unit at Catford Traffic Garage is investigating the incident.
