A Sutton officer who sexually assaulted six woman in one night has been dismissed from the police force.

PC Michael Bouwers had earlier in the year pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the women during a party at a Wallington pub and was handed a 12-month community order and will also be placed on the sex offenders register for five years.

On May 10 he attended a special case hearing and answered to allegations that his conduct amounted to a breach of standards of professional behaviour in respect of “discreditable conduct," amounting to gross misconduct.

Following the hearing, Bouwers was dismissed without notice.
