The body of a singing teacher from Crystal Palace has been found at the bottom of a cliff in Beachy Head, Eastbourne.
Sussex police were called yesterday to reports of a body on the beach, but sadly she was declared dead at the scene.
Police now believe the person was that of Hannah Northedge, a singing teacher and choir director at B&G Cafe Choir in Church Road.
On the choir's website it is described as a "vibrant non audition community choir performing original arrangements of pop, rock, Motown, blues, folk and other contemporary music styles."
The choir was founded in June 2016 and was directed by Ms Northedge.
She had also previously starred in the feature film The Oxford Murders, alongside Elijah Wood and John Hurt and had recorded music for Spanish composer Roque Baños, at Abbey Road Studios.
Police have said this is in no way connected to an earlier report issued of a car driving over the cliff at Beachy Head - enquiries into this incident are still ongoing.
Next of kin have been informed.
