An exhibition of paintings and prints focusing on the natural world is being held at the Riverside Gallery in Richmond.

The ‘Tracing Time, Placing Marks: Four London Artist Printmakers’ exhibition will show works inspired by ancient trees and Neolithic structures, industrial remains on rocky coasts, eroded limestone seashores and delicate threads of textures from nature.

Works from Eleanor Durbin, Martin Henley, Frances Kiernan and Jenny Lagnado will be on display until May 5, 2018.

David Allister, head of culture at Richmond Council said: “It’s already been a big year for the arts in Richmond with the newly refurbished Orleans House Gallery opening earlier this year, and a number of fantastic exhibitions already underway.

"This exhibition adds to that busy programme and I hope you will all join us at the Riverside Gallery.”

Visitors will be able to view sketchbooks and drawings which show how each artist’s ideas change as they follow creative journeys during the process of making their art.
