Longford River in Hampton is looking particularly beautiful at sunset in this picture by David Allen, taken last week.
David dedicates it to his mother-in-law Christine Westley who lives in Teddington and is "the best".
Originally from Liverpool, David has lived in the area for four years and said it such a "friendly and beautiful place I'll be here for life".
Longford River is actually an artificial waterway designed to add beauty to royal parks.
It was built for King Charles I around 1638 as a water supply for Hampton Court, with Bushy Park water features added in 1710.
