Part of a major South Croydon road has been closed after a crash early this morning (April 11).

Police were called just after 5am to Pampisford Road near St Augustines Avenue following reports that a lorry had crash into a group of stationary cars.

The driver of the lorry was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service and there have been no arrests.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that road closures are still in place on the road while the lorry is moved.
