Two men and a woman required treatment after a fire broke out at a residential care home in Sutton this morning.
A second-floor flat was destroyed and 19 people left the property before both the London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service were called to the address in Burnell Road shortly before 7am (April 10).
Nearly 60 firefighters and eight fire engines attended, with crews from Sutton, Mitcham, Norbury, Tooting, and Wallington stations, with the blaze coming under control at around 8.20am.
The current condition of the people treated is unknown and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
