Two people were stabbed at Whitgift Shopping Centre this afternoon.
Police were called at 5.17pm to reports of a man being stabbed today (April 6).
A spokesman for the Met Police said the victims were a man who could have been in his teens or early twenties, and a 16-year-old boy.
London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance also attended the scene.
Both victims were taken to hospital.
Detectives from Croydon CID are investigating.
There has been no arrests at this stage.
A spokeswoman from London Ambulance Service said:
“We were called on Friday 6 April 2018 at 5.19pm to reports of a stabbing in Central Croydon.
“We sent multiple resources to the scene including ambulance crews and an incident response officer with the first of our medics arriving in under five minutes. London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched.
“We treated two patients at the scene, and took them to hospital as a priority.”
