A duel school performance has left onlookers "hugely impressed" with their performance of Oliver Twist.
St Andrew’s School in Warrington Road joined forces with neighbours The Minster Junior School that had students acting, dancing and singing the classic story to life.
Headteacher at St Andrew’s, Kerry Targett, was blown away with what she saw on stage.
“We are immensely proud of our students for the dedication, enthusiasm and commitment they have shown in working to make this year’s musical production of Oliver so fantastic," she said.
"We have been hugely impressed with the high-standards of performances and the success of the production has been to the credit of the hard work of both students and staff.
"Drama and music have long been passions of St Andrew’s School, and so it has been a delight to see so many of our students dreams come true, performing on the stage.”
