Legendary DJ David Rodigan is coming to Croydon.
Boxpark and events company LWE have teamed up to bring the latest musical instalment to the area.
'HotBox' will see some of the UK's "biggest musicians" take over the Croydon venue for a five month span kicking off in late April.
Boxpark's events and marketing manager David Byrne was thrilled to see the idea come to fruition.
"LWE is a highly reputable events company as demonstrated with their success at previous venues," he said.
"With many large-scale shows already under our belt, we wanted to take our event offerings at Croydon up a notch and help establish the venue as a major music destination.
"We thought who better to do this with than LWE. We're thrilled to bring some more exciting shows to Croydon and can’t wait for the first event.”
The first HotBox will take place on April 28, with DJ David Rodigan headlining the event.
Co-Founder of LWE, Paul Jack, can't wait to see how the public reacts to the event.
"Boxpark Croydon is an amazing event space, and in of one of London's fastest growing boroughs for culture," he said.
"Coupled with a rich musical heritage, it makes Boxpark the perfect place for us to launch our new musical concept HotBox.”
