Four fire engines and 21 firefighters tackled a flat fire in Croydon this morning.
The London Fire Brigade were called to Pampisford Road in Croydon at 10.16am.
They arrived at a detached house, which has been converted into flats, to find part of a first floor flat on fire.
Crews from Croydon, Purley and Wallington attended and had the fire under control by 11.23am.
Two dogs and two cats have been rescued and returned to their owners.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
