Police are searching for a couple after a charity box was stolen from a book store in Twickenham.
The incident happened in Waterstones in King Street on Jan 9.
Twickenham Riverside PC Steve Pitcher said a man “distracted the sole member of staff”, while a woman was captured on CCTV “swiping” the charity box.
He described it as a “pretty disgusting crime” and has urged members of the public to come forward if they recognise the couple.
