A man has been arrested after police were called to an unpleasant encounter at Caterham Train Station last night (February 1).
Tandridge Beat (Surrey Police) took to Facebook to share what happened, and also to apologise for any inconvenience.
"Sorry if a man and his foul mouth ruined your train journey yesterday," they said.
"Late last night Tandridge officers were called to help out at Caterham rail station where a man was [allegedly] being racially abusive to staff at the location.
"He was arrested and our British Transport Police colleagues took him away to be interviewed."
