One driver has caused some big delays on the tram tracks tonight.
A photo (above) was taken showing a car completely on top of the Sandilands tracks going towards Elmer's End.
This prompted many to fear for the worst as they venture home for the night.
Worst fears were indeed confirmed by a spokesman for Transport for London.
"Trams will not be going through East Croydon to Blackhorse Lane and Lloyd's Park while this is being dealt with," he said.
The car mounted the tracks at around 4.25pm and while it should be cleared shortly, there is no time frame on when the lines will be up and running again, or how this will affect delays."
