A group looking to stamp out knife crime in Croydon is offering up a free hour of studio recording time to the person who can sweep judges off their feet at an upcoming talent show.
Since the launch of its knife crime campaign #morethanable, The Music Relief Foundation has been been flooded with requests from people asking to perform.
Now those people will have the chance.
From 12pm-2pm on Saturday, January 13, Music Relief will be hosting a talent show for people aged 11-19.
A spokeswoman for Music Relief said: "That to build positive engagements with the youths and police, a level of trust must be built and with four stabbings in London in the past few days, the cry of the nation continues to increase looking for answers to the problem.
"We believe that youths are our leaders so building a culture of self belief and continuous positive and proactive engagements with police and authorities is key to building a community of trust and a movement of #morethanable youth ambassadors."
You can email Office@Music-relief.com to enter the talent show.
