A Croydon pub and shisha bar, an age care facility and a daycare centre have all been named and shamed for not paying some employees the minimum wage.
A report published by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and MP Margot James listed 260 employers who have failed to pay 16,000 workers at least minimum wage rates.
Among the 260 were Croydon's Aja Lounge, also known as The Crown and Pepper, Coulsdon's Brightsparks Day Nursery and Coulsdon's Crystal Elderly Care.
In total, the three businesses had failed to pay out a combined £3,000 to four workers.
Brightsparks was named as it failed to pay £847.69 to one worker.
The daycare's managing director Emma Jones put this down to a clerical mistake.
"This was frustratingly a simple admin error, where we had the wrong date of birth entered into payroll," she said.
"Once we realised our error, we paid the staff member their missing money."
A spokesman for Aja Lounge - which failed to pay two of its workers £188.47 in total - also said it was due to a mistake.
"It was a mistake with the accountant who over a few years failed to pay out 40 or 50 pence each time," he said.
"This is what led to the £188 not being paid."
Crystal Elderly Care failed to pay £1,980.71 to 1 worker.
