If you are wanted by police, it might not be a good idea to call the force to your own home.
However that is exactly what this one man did in Greenwich when he was convinced there was an intruder in his house.
Officers from Greenwich police arrived at his home yesterday (December 12) and conducted their thorough search of the building, finding no intruder.

It was the male who called us! ^Darren
However they did discover that the man who called them was on court bail with a curfew which he had breached on December 9-10.
His name and face had been circulated as wanted that day and the officers were told on their way to the home that the man was wanted.
Greenwich police officers then arrested the very same man who called them and took him into custody.
