A lorry has crashed near East Croydon Station, blocking off the Junction of Addiscombe Road and Addiscombe Grove.
British Transport Police were called at 11:58 to reports of a lorry colliding with part of a tram signalling system.
A spokesman for BTP said: "Officers are on the scene now, but we can't confirm if there have been any injuries."
I took this near the start, 40 mins later and he’s still there. Don’t ever change Croydon. pic.twitter.com/6SrxhClwhz

Although the blockage caused by the lorry appears to be cleared, delays can still be expected to the trams and buses.
"Repairs will have to be made to the signalling system, so the delays will depend on how long it takes to get that fixed," the BTP spokesman said.
A witness said "the driver seemed to be trying to turn and got stuck."
