A property advisor has let out a new state-of-the art industrial unit to a US based distributor of Korean foods.
The new unit was built by Salmon Property on behalf of Sutton Council and is a 17, 000 sq ft of energy efficient warehousing.
H Mart Europe Ltd will now use the facility for the next 15 years after it was let by Stiles Harold Williams Partnership (SHP).
Alex Gale, partner of SHW, said: “Sutton Council should be applauded for having the foresight to build new industrial capacity at a time of historic chronic shortage. The vacancy rate in this area is currently less than four per cent.”
The industrial unit on 38 Kimpton Road has eco-friendly features such as electric car charging points, rainwater harvesting and photovoltaic cells for solar energy capture.
