A man has appeared in court charged with manslaughter and arson in Croydon more than 20 years ago.
Richard Curtin, 41, of Great Peter Street, Westminster was charged on Wednesday, October 25, with the manslaughter of a 38-year-old man at a home in Violet Lane, Croydon on October 6, 1996. He was also charged with arson (being reckless as to endanger life).
He appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, October 25, where he was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, November 22.
