A restaurant in Croydon is looking for a new part-time worker, but you have to be female to apply.

Mazi Restaurant on London Road put a sign in its window and posted on recruiting website Indeed asking for "part time staff required (female)."

When contacted about the decision to only hire a female for the position, the manager for the store confirmed that "only female staff can apply."

"We need female staff for downstairs."

When asked why this was the case, the manager declined to comment.
