Residents at Gracewell of Sutton, on Westmead Road, were joined by their friends, family and the local community on Wednesday 16th August for a very special ‘Disney Day’ event.
The local Rainbows, Brownies, members from the St Barnabas Church and the Minister, Jeff Richards, all attended Gracewell of Sutton’s Disney Day, with a showing of the latest remake of the classic Disney film, Beauty and the Beast.
As part of the day, there was a whole range of activities including face painting and fancy dress, with the residents joining in too. Accompanying the entertainment was a delicious party food spread, for all to enjoy.
Sonia Weller, Activities Coordinator at Gracewell of Sutton, said: “It was really brilliant to see so many generations and members of the community all join with Gracewell of Sutton to have an excellent day. Thank you to everyone who attended, our residents had such an enjoyable and memorable day.”
