Merton Police say travellers on Cannon Hill Common have now been moved.
The group is believed to have arrived over the weekend.
Caravans had previously been seen on the common in June.
Police say they have been made aware of a small amount of refuse and will be dealing with it.

Residents once again took to social media to complain about how easy the site is for the caravans to access.
