A man found unconscious ‘with blood coming from his mouth’ has been taken to hospital.

He was seen lying face down “with a streak of blood on the pavement coming from his mouth” in Chessington Road, Ewell this afternoon.

People were trying to help him and phoned emergency services, a witness told the Epsom Guardian.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) arrived at the bus stop at Jubilee Parade at 12.15pm.

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, has been taken to St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

It is not yet known how the man was injured.

Surrey Police has been contacted for comment.
