Pizza fans can celebrate as sourdough pizza chain Franco Manca has announced a new opening in Richmond on Thursday (May 18).

Specialising in Neapolitan slow-rising sourdough pizzas baked in a wood-burning oven, the menu offers a range of classic pizzas for under £8 with a variety of extra toppings available.

The chain started at Brixton Market in 2008 and has quickly spread throughout London, with more than 30 restaurants.

The famous pizzeria will be opening under the old blue lamp on Red Lion Street with capacity for 92 diners and comes just after launching its Putney branch on the High Street.

It also offers a take-away option with a special student deal on Monday and Tuesdays until the end of June.
