Kingston Police officers will hold a life-saving first aid session in the wake of the Westminster terror attacks.

The demonstration, set up by officer Sebastian Ellis primarily for parents, will be held in the Rose Theatre's auditorium next Monday after requests from Kingston residents.

Hundreds of people have already signed up to the free event on Facebook.

A counter terrorism officer from the Metropolitan Police will be briefing guests on how to stay safe during a terror attack, with paramedics from London Ambulance Service also demonstrating life-saving techniques to parents.

Topics including CPR, burns and choking will be covered, along with tips on preventing burglary and crime in your neighbourhood from Kingston Police officers.

Officers are expecting a high demand of people, so if you are interested in attending, please email them at kingstonpress@met.police.uk with your name, contact number and required amount of tickets.

Monday, April 10, from 7pm to 9pm at the Rose Theatre
