A driver has been caught on camera losing control of his car perilously close to a group of cyclists in New Addington.
The video shows a Mercedes pull out into Layham’s Road from Sheepbarn Lane, at the junction with aptly named Skid Hill Lane and King Henry’s Drive.
But as the car turns, the vehicle skids or possibly performs a drift-style manoeuvre, just inches away from cyclists on the opposite side of the road.
The video, above, was uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, March 5
YouTube user Spincam, who uploaded the video that has been watched almost 2,000 times since it was posted on Sunday, said the driver even give a thumbs up afterwards.
He wrote: “Absolutely irresponsible behaviour around a bunch of other road users which he could have quite easily hit in the process.
“He gave a thumbs up at the end as he went past.”
