Detectives in Twickenham have released CCTV footage of two men they would like to speak to after an attempted burglary of a tool shed in Barnes.
The owner of the shed caught two men with £5,000 worth of tools loaded into a trolley after the shed in Verdun Road was broken into at 9.40pm on Monday, January 30.
The owner chased the two men and they left empty handed, but had caused substantial damage to the outside door of the shed during the break in.
CCTV outside the shed caught a man earlier the same day apparently checking out the site, showed him retuning later in the evening with another suspect and a trolley.
Police would like to speak to two men in connection with the burglary.
The first man is described as white and in his 20s, of medium build and with short brown hair. He was wearing a black zipped jacket, light coloured trousers and grey trainers.
The second man is described as a white man wearing a light coloured top and trousers. He was also wearing a jacket with the hood up.
