Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after another teenage boy suffered multiple stab wounds.

Police were called to the Wandle car park, in Wandle Road, by the London Ambulance Service (LAS), shortly before 10.30pm on Tuesday, February 28. 

The 17-year-old boy was found with multiple stab wounds in a stairwell. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition. 

A 17-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Thursday, March 2. 

The 17-year-old has been released on bail until a date in mid-April. The 18-year-old remains in custody.
