A father and son have been left seriously injured after part of a concrete shop front fell on top of them.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called to the Maison Blanc French pâtisserie, in Putney High Street, at about 1pm yesterday.
The men, one in his 40s and the other in his 60s, were treated at the scene before being taken to Charing Cross Hospital.
The father is currently suffering spinal and head injuries while the son is in surgery for leg injuries.
They had both just been walking past Maison Blanc, which is part of Raymond Blanc's culinary empire, when the shop front collapsed.
Wandsworth Council's building control team attended the scene, which has now been made safe.
The business is currently closed. Wandsworth Council and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating the cause of the accident.
Roads near the scene were affected, with some road closures taking place.
