A motorcyclist is fighting life after a crash in Wallington.
Police and paramedics were called to Croydon Road after the biker collided with a car at about 7.20am today.
He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman added: “We treated a man for stomach pain and took him as a priority to a major trauma centre in south-west London."
The crash happened between the junctions with Manor Road and Bute Road.
Police shut Croydon Road in both directions and bus routes 407, 410, 463 and X26 were diverted.
The road has since re-opened.
